Fund of Development Transborder Cooperation
FDTC
Fund of Transborder Cooperation and Special Economic
Zones Development FDTC - independent research organization created
by scientific employees of a Uzhgorod department of Institute of
economic and the international attitudes of the National Academy
of sciences of Ukraine in 2002.
Fund of Development Transborder Cooperation specializes on scientific-applied
researches of problems of development of the international cooperation
in the European frontier territories, development of the concept
of attraction of the foreign capital to Ukraine, performance of
marketing, expert and consulting researches, organizational maintenance
of the international scientific communications, including carrying
out of symposiums, conferences of seminars, the international schools,
a language course.
Employees FDTC are constitutors the International Association Development
of free Economic Zones (ADEZ). Researches of employees of Fund were
used by development of projects of free economic zone "Transcarpathia",
Euroregion Carpathia. Researches are published in scientific editions
of Ukraine, the CIS and other foreign countries. Employees of Fund
carried out a number(line) of research works under orders of UNESCO,
the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, took part in development
of projects of Laws of Ukraine for a Supreme Soviet of Ukraine and
other organizations.
Fund has practical experience in creation and realization of projects
of the European Union under the Program of Neighbourliness Tacis,
PHARE, Interreg Poland-Belarus-Ukraine and Hungary-Slovakia-Ukraine,
and also other programs of the technical and humanitarian help.
Now on the basis of the saved up experience employees of Fund investigate
opportunities of improvement of use in region of natural resources,
developments of recreational potential, a transport infrastructure,
restoration and privatization of mountain narrow-gauge railways,
constructions of river port on the river of the Tisa, creation Transcarpathian
ecological fund.
General provisions
- The Fund is a public organization, the main
object whereof is conducting of charitable activity in favour
of the society and regional community in Transcarpathiar region.
- The charity and charitable activity of the
Fund is conducted on compliance with the principles of lawfulness,
humanity, general interests and equality of its members, openness,
volunteerism and self-governing.
- The activity of the Fund by its character
is public what does not contradict to its cooperation with the
bodies of state government and does not exclude the right on getting
state support.
- The activity of the Fund runs under the Constitution
of Ukraine, the law of Ukraine "On charity and charitable organizations",
other regulative - legal deeds on the charity and charitable activity.
- The activity of the Fund is disinterested, it
is not envisaged to earn the profit.
The subject, object and aims of the charitable
activity of the Fund
The main object of the Fund's activity is:
- conducting of the charitable activity
in favour of interests of the regional development;
- assisting to Ukraine's contest for the European
integration on the level of the region;
- facilitating the transborder cooperation
in the economic, social and humanitarian spheres of the companies,
institutions and organizations and by cooperation of the citizens
and their associations;
- formation of the personnel potential for
the transborder cooperation , promotion of the mutual trust and
understanding among the transborder regions and the ethnic and
social groups.
The main guidelines of the Fund's activity
are the following:
- Promotion of scientific contacts,
scientific studies as to the opportunities for the development
of economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation in the frontier
regions;
- working out the concepts of foreign entrepreneurship
in the transborder territories and special economic zones in Ukraine;
- facilitating the expert and consultative
investigations of the problems of the frontier territories in
the European international relations.
The subject of the Fund's activity is:
- Arrangement, funding and conducting
of the scientific - investigation projects, including the international
ones, dealing with the problems of trans-border cooperation, implementation
of the results achieved in the practice.
- Development, patronage, implementation of
the complex projects on Investments in the frontier territories.
- Preparation of the conclusions and technical
- economic feasibility studies on the subject of expediency of
the joint business activities in the frontier territories.
- Promotion of marketing and engineering providing
for transborder and scientific contacts.
- Study and development of the projects addressing
to the ecological and environmental problems in the frontier regions.
- Development and implementation of the concepts
of the development of transborder productive, transborder and
social infrastructure .
- Study of the problems of the European transborder
regions development.
- Scientific study and providing of the recommendations
on the development of transborder cooperation in the humanitarian
sphere.
- Establishment of the European scientific
contacts, including the arrangement of the symposiums, conferences,
international schools, languages courses , for this purpose creation
the hotel and recreational infrastructure, small-scale operations
what assist to the attaining of the charter aims and their registration
in compliance with the legislation procedure.
- Arrangement of the scientific tourism for
the Ukrainian and foreign scientists and specialists.
- Development of the informative-computer network,
system of communication, scientific data basis on the charter
activities.
- Providing of the foreign economic, consultative,
auditor and financial-economic services.
- Seeking the partners for business cooperation.
- Seeking and introduction into transborder
cooperation of new technique and progressive technologies, know-
how, comprehensive programs for ecological problem solutions,
consumer goods production.
- Other activities not banned by the
laws of Ukraine.
